The answer is yes and no. Why? Meets the chemical processes and biological chocolate that lead to acne in the first place.

The deconstruction of chocolate

Chocolate is essentially composed of three main ingredients: cocoa, sugar and milk. Chocolates have different amounts of added ingredients plus three as vanilla, nuts, raisins, etc. Usually, chocolate comes in three variants: the dark or bitter chocolate composed mainly of cocoa, milk chocolate over milk sugar and cocoa and white chocolate cocoa butter, more milk and sugar.

Cocoa has been shown to have many health benefits. It has lots of antioxidants, which protect body cells from damage. It also helps to protect against blockage of the arteries lowers blood pressure, migraine, and dementia. These antioxidants, however, lose their effect when mixed with milk fat, cocoa and cocoa. Cocoa powder is also produced at significantly lower antioxidant raw cocoa.

The bad things in chocolate are not chocolate itself, but the extra milk, fat and sugar. These ingredients are what makes the chocolate is very rich in calories. So much so that binging on chocolate, without consuming an equivalent amount of physical activity can make you fat. Construction of simple sugars and carbohydrates your body can also have an indirect effect on your skin.

Chocolate and acne

When you eat too much chocolate or other high sugar foods for that matter, blood sugar soaring. For some reason, this also leads to levels of the pimple, causing testosterone, growth hormone. This triggers the skin to produce more oil, leading to acne outbreaks.

Scientists have also theorized that eating a diet high in fat can cause the skin to produce more oil, due to increased fatty acid concentration in the blood. Therefore, it is possible to eat too much milk or white chocolate, which has a considerable amount of cocoa butter and other fats, can trigger an outbreak of acne.

Eating lots of sweets and fatty foods (chocolate milk) is also known to increase stress hormones in the body. When this happens, the skin becomes too oily and acne worse.

Everything in moderation

Scientific studies that focus directly on the link between chocolate and acne have often resulted in negative or inconclusive. This may be due to some weakness in the general methodology, or simply because the body has sufficient safeguards to counter the possible effects of too much chocolate on the skin. There are still, however, the rationale behind the warning credible - that, yes, too much chocolate (especially milk and white varieties) can aggravate acne because of its high sugar and fat. As with anything else, the best solution is to keep everything in moderation - including chocolate.
